2006 Syrah

Our 2006 Syrah comes from Chalone Vineyard which is 1,800 feet above sea level just west of the Pinnacles National Monument in Monterey County. This spot was chosen for its long growing season and exceptional quality Syrah. The Syrah has a burst of blueberry and ripe blackberry aromas and is full bodied with an elegant texture and long finish. This wine pairs well with rich and flavorful foods such as lamb, duck, and filet mignon.
